problem solving

On Tuesday at maths time my group had to work out a basketball cap problem. In the first problem we had to try and work out how many weeks Aria sells caps for. The average number of caps she sold was eight per week and in the end she sold 32 caps. We started of guessing and we guessed 4 weeks, then we put the number 10 in week ones column, the number 6 in week twos, the number 4 in week threes and the number 12 in week fours column. Then we did:
10+6=16
16+4=20
20+12=32
So the answer was four weeks.

rip currents

We are learning to research what to do when caught in a rip For Reading we learnt about rip currents. We had to go to google drawings and create a drawing of what a rip looks like.We had to also list four things about what to do if caught in a rip.
